This Privacy Policy explains how Aoufi Labs ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the application Brain Arena (the "App") on Android and iOS.
Game results, XP, levels, coins, streaks, brain-profile statistics, achievements progress, and settings are stored locally in the App's private storage. This data is not transmitted to us and is removed when you uninstall the App.
The "Brain Age" and brain-profile radar are playful self-comparison features — they are not medical measurements and make no medical claims.
The Sleep Journal lets you record how you slept: a quality rating, optionally how long, your bedtime and wake time, how rested you felt, whether the night was broken into separate blocks of sleep, and a free-text note.
This information never leaves your device. It is not sent to us, it is not sent to Google, it is excluded from all analytics and crash reports, and it is deliberately excluded from leaderboards and from any share card you generate. Every sleep figure you see in the App — averages, your longest unbroken stretch, comparisons against your own training scores — is calculated on your device from your own entries. You can delete the Sleep Journal on its own, without losing your training history, from Settings → Your data inside the App.
Brain Arena is not a medical device and gives no medical advice. The Sleep Journal is a self-report diary, not a measurement — nothing is recorded by a sensor. The App diagnoses nothing, and where a pattern might matter it says so plainly and suggests speaking to a doctor. BrainLab articles cite published research and state openly where the evidence is weak. Nothing in the App should replace professional advice.
The words, names and cue/answer pairs you enter for spaced review, along with your review history, are stored only on your device and are never transmitted.
The App shows ads through Google AdMob (interstitial and optional rewarded ads — never in the middle of a game). To serve, cap, and measure ads, AdMob may process device information, IP address, the resettable advertising identifier, and ad interaction data, as described in Google's Advertising Policy. Where required by law (e.g. EEA/UK), a consent dialog is shown before ads are served.
The App uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand which features are used and to find and fix crashes. These report a small number of anonymous events — that a game was finished (with the game's name, score and accuracy), that a daily session or mission was completed, or that a rewarded ad was watched — along with a pseudonymous app instance identifier and technical device information.
These reports are not linked to your identity: there is no account, and we never send your name, contact details, or anything you have written. In particular they never include Sleep Journal entries, sleep notes, or Remember This content. This data is processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy.
Android: if you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, Google processes your Play Games profile (gamer tag and avatar) to provide leaderboards and achievement sync. You can play the entire game without signing in. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Scores you submit to a leaderboard are visible to other players under your Play Games gamer tag.
iOS: Brain Arena currently has no leaderboards. Google Play Games Services does not exist on Apple devices and no replacement is enabled, so no score you achieve ever leaves your iPhone or iPad. XP, levels, coins, achievements, streaks and your brain profile all work exactly the same — they are simply local.
With your permission the App may send local reminders: a training reminder, an optional morning or evening sleep check-in, a daily brain fact, or a nudge when something in Remember This is due for review. Every one is generated and scheduled on your own device — the App has no push server and never sends you anything from the internet. All reminders are off unless you switch them on, and you can disable them at any time in the App's settings or your device's notification settings.
The App is a general-audience game and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Local game data can be erased by uninstalling the App, and the Sleep Journal can be deleted on its own from Settings → Your data. To manage Play Games data, use your Google account controls. For advertising data, see myadcenter.google.com. Because we hold no personal data on any system we control, there is nothing for us to delete on request.
